For the past three years, the smell of barbecue has drifted across the corner of South 15th and West Oak streets in Louisville’s Park Hill neighborhood.
Russell is a neighborhood just west of downtown Louisville, a center of Black excellence and the heart of the West End, nine historically Black neighborhoods connected by history, culture, and economics.
